SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 13

Recognizing the outstanding dedication and professionalism of the employees of West Virginia's state parks system.

Whereas, West Virginia's state parks are an alluring attraction to visitors from all over the United States and are especially appealing to West Virginians who wish to wander from frenzied city life to the serenity of the open outdoors; and
Whereas, The success of the day-to-day operations of West Virginia's state parks system is due to the dedication and professionalism of the employees who have made our state parks system a model for the nation in the areas of public recreation and natural resources management; and
Whereas, The endeavors of these employees, who have made our state parks system the cornerstone for a thriving tourism industry, should not go unnoticed; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the Senate hereby recognizes the outstanding dedication and professionalism of the employees of West Virginia's state parks system work who tirelessly to keep our parks pristine and beautiful places to visit; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the governor and the director of the division of parks and tourism.
